Screening & cancellation
Screening
Step 1
For both our safety, and because you would be coming into my private & sacred space, I require some basic form of screening.
Acceptable screening methods (just one needed)
- an active and well established Facebook or Instagram account with your picture and recent posts visible to me
- a LinkedIn account that looks reasonably up-to-date and active, and has your picture
- a business website (not a blog) that has your picture and full name
- a copy of your current ID (ie. DL, State ID, Military ID, Passport, work ID). If it makes you more comfortable you can black-out other info except your photo, full name and year of birth
- a minimum of 2 references from providers you’ve seen in the last 12 months. They must be currently either on a major ad site, social media or have their own website. You will need to ask their permission for me to contact them and get a yes before sending me their info.
Step 2
We’ll have a brief (5-10 minutes) phone call or video call to hear each other’s voice and answer any lingering questions.
I protect your privacy and discretion
Your privacy is of utmost importance to me. This is my hard earned vocation and I care about discretion and privacy as well.
I delete your screening info after our session and I never “follow” any social media accounts you might provide me.
That said, screening is non-negotiable since my safety is non-negotiable.
On Showing Up + Cancellation policy
I work on the honor system. I keep my word, I show up. How about you?
When you book with me, I reserve that time just for you. This means turning others away, preparing both mentally and physically, and definitely incurring costs I can’t recover if you don’t show up.
I understand that life happens, people change their minds, and even sometimes doubt, fear or guilt can creep in. That’s human.
If you’re unsure, it’s okay to take your time to feel more into what’s really true for you, gain clarity, and book only knowing you plan to show up for the session.
But thoughtless cancellation and/or ghosting doesn’t just waste my time and other resources, it erodes trust and makes it harder to offer deposit-free booking to others who *would* have shown up.
If you’re a serious and respectful inquirer, and your plans change, communicate that to me asap. And if you cancel and you hadn’t already sent a deposit, I ask that you send a 25% cancellation fee along with your cancellation note. This ensures I feel trust about another future booking from you, and becomes your new deposit for a reschedule.
I can’t wait to connect with you!
